Florian Senfter aka Zombie Nation rekindles his long-standing relationship with Turbo to deliver this killer four-track release. It’s been almost four years since he dropped his last artist album on Tiga’s label, but it sounds like little has changed in the interim. “Something Else” sets the tone for the release with its pitch-bent vocals, grungy bass and slightly off-beat rhythm. “Workhorse” sees him venture down an acid-soaked path, but he soon reverts to his trademark sound. Both “Horsework”, with its wired vocal sample, noisy groove and insistent, shrieking stabs and the screeching riffs and insistent pulses on “A Numbers Game”, are classic Zombie Nation.
