MB Elektronics is back with an illustrious collection of remixes of Marco Baileys High Volume .Our remixers need no introduction, they are all key players of the techno scene and manage to cover an array of styles effortlessly, from pumped up techno to experimental down tempo electronica.
The album includes 3 massive interpretations of Horny Tiger, three of The Falcon, Grolzham, The fox and Cash.
Dominik Eulberg brings into Grolzham his distinctive experimental electronic sound, bringing to the front the melodic part using his crystal synth melodies and fluid soundscape images to sweeten the track.
Italian producer Mattew Jay takes The Fox and builds up a peak time techno bomb, keeping the vocals heavy filtered in the background and adding eerie effects and a fat techno bass. Powerful and dynamic!
The Advent & Industrialyzer uses flangering synths and a distinctive repetitive chord stab to lift The falcon to a playful techno rocker remix while G flame creates a twanging techno groover remix of the track with rolling drums and an ascending horn riff spicing things up as we go along!
Uto Karem whips down Marcos Cash takes a ride to deeper techno rhythms yet no less potent, leaving the groovy affair to cleverly punctuated percussions and beautiful smooth synth chord lightening the mood.
Belgians Filterheadz knock another one out of the park with their interpretation of Horny Tiger with their stomping bass being layered with an atmospheric melody while a repeated catchy female vocal stab and skillfully crafted effects build up, tear out and finally breakdown to drive the groove through the loop right on the floor. Thrilling stuff!
Tom Hades works together with Soren Aalberg for the remix Horny Tiger. They follow a deeper path using eerie synths and strict high hats before they leave a thick bassline to take action.
Dj/ Producer Raphael Dincsoy from Stuttgart drives The Falcon to the underground right from the start with his murky bass heavy groove while a haunting spooky detuned synth loop conveys a feeling of anxiety as if walking alone in narrow streets at night.
Last but not least Roel Salemink takes Horny Tiger to a bass driven relentless rhythm with filtered hi hats phasing in and out increasing suspense just before it kicks back in with his rolling snares creating a broody monster ready to drive every dancefloor to sweat!
