Aus Music affiliate and No Idea’s Original boss Huxley is back (following up some great releases by Boxia and J Phlip) with “Unconscious Competence (Spider)” a moody and slow burning dancefloor journey that’s just made for drifting with its hypnotic vibes. Tring’s finest also serves up “Weapon 2 (Grinding)” which is definitely a departure from his usual style, but we were really feeling this one. It is a tough and stomping industrial techno workout, with steely rhythms and druggy vocal loops on top and balanced out by generous servings of dark strings and white noise washes.
