More unearthed rarities by the Windy City legend Spencer Kincy courtesy of French label Cyclo with The Lost EP. To start, we’ve got the rolling “4321” which features some immaculate drum programming on a simple yet effective groove. Then “Jungle Life” is dark, deep, tripped out.. techno, we’d say! Similar to experiments of the time by fellow Chicagoan Green Velvet; this one was mental! Finally, there’s a moment of absolute deepness by the man in the form of the smooth and emotive “Monday To Wednesday”. While there certainly are stories going around regarding what happened to Kincy, we’d urge you to focus less on the rumours and to enjoy his wonderful musical legacy instead. Timeless stuff!
