Interdimensional Transmissions label owner Brendan M Gillen (BMG) teams up again with long-serving Detroit DJ Plaslaiko for a deep techno/electro workout. The title track, available here in two versions, moves from the fuzzy, acid-soaked instrumental take to the original version, which navigates a path through electro-bass frequencies, acidic pulses and ponderous, pitch-bent vocals. For the rest of the release, the duo focuses on an abstract approach. “Breaking You Down” is an esoteric soundtrack of bleeps and tones; “Your Mind Is Mine” continues the pair’s interest in frazzled drones – only this time without even the semblance of a groove to back it up.
