What’s this, Two Acido releases featuring SVN in one week? Dynamo Dreesen you are really spoiling us mate! Acido 17 sees the debut of SP Posse, the new project between Phillip Gelberg and the SUED boss SVN who are both names that will be familiar to Acido completists. Consisting of three untitled productions, SP Posse demonstrates SVN is just as comfortable behind the buttons with Gelberg as he is with Takeshi Wada as Tase or Dynamo Dreesen as Dreesvn. Despite the minimal amount of elements used in each production, there’s a dreamy hypnotic quality to all of them which adds a sense of unity to proceedings and if we were pushed to pick a favourite it would have to be the underwater tabla grooves of the final production.
