For the latest installment in their eponymous mix series, Berlin’s Watergate club has turned to resident DJ La Fleur, AKA Swedish producer Sanna Engdahl. The Power Plant boss delivers a typically fluid mix, gradually shifting through the gears in impressive fashion. After kicking off with the beatless gorgeousness of Matthias Mayer’s “Miss Apre Gate” and decidedly slinky deep house cuts from Of Norway and Show B, she slowly builds up the tempo and intensity via choice tracks and reworks from Motor City Drum Ensemble, Peace Division, Miss Kittin and Hans Berg, finishing with the riotous techno pulse of Laurent Garnier’s 1997 techno anthem “Flashback (Video Mix)”.
