Having seen his series of MMT Tapes 12″s collected by Rush Hour back in 2012 for a superb double LP release, Jorge Velez marks his return to the Amsterdam emporium in fine style here with this Ausland single. If recent reports are to be believed, this two-track release is the first of several records from Velez planned over the course of the year with Creme Organization and the Skudge Presents series amongst his planned destinations. Both the title track and “Lost Highway” will leave you craving more productions from the New Jersey-based musician, expanding on the delicate, supple, hardware driven sound of his MMT Tapes material and delightfully strange in their execution.
