Local Action is proud to present an extended EP release by Inkke, Glasgow’s best new producer.

Since appearing on Big Dada’s Grime 2.0 compilation, Inkke has been championed by key DJs and tastemakers from Scotland (Eclair Fifi, Jackmaster, S-Type) and further afield (Mumdance, Slackk, Plastician, Cashmere Cat, Ryan Hemsworth). He contributed to LuckyMe’s 2014 advent calendar, and released an acclaimed cassette EP, Faded With Da Kittens, on the Astral Black label.

On Crystal Children, he lets out some of his most in-demand dubplates (‘Thinkk Star’, ‘Ultraviolet’) while also showing his sentimental side on the gut-wrenching ‘Daisy Chain’ and Julia Juban collaboration ‘Paradise’.

After six Inkke originals, the digital version of Crystal Children closes on remixes by Gage, whose ‘Telo’ has emerged as one of 2014’s most talked about club tracks, and JT the Goon, who turns ‘Paradise’ into a six-minute black key epic.
