Parisian musician Art Bleek first met Jamie Anderson in 2006 when he stayed at Jamies house in Bristol with Jesse Rose while mastering his album Between Yesterday & Tomorrow for Loungin Records. Having remained friends since, and with a lot in common; both having a background in Jazz, with Art Bleek studying at the prestigious Boston Berklee College of Music and Jamie trained by renowned Jazz improviser Dave Buxton, along with a love of Detroit techno and Deep House, the pair decided to collaborate on some music. With Mr. Bleek now living in Los Angeles the tracks featured here have been recorded from a series of passing parts and stems back and forth across the Atlantic via the internet over a two month period. A true question and answer technique where one would lay down the chords and the other the melody, deleting, adding and re-arranging until three versions were completed.
