Solace is a science fiction concept LP.
I touches on entropy, extreme time-scales, and how those can impact intelligence and identity.

It’s the long awaited follow up to 2013’s ‘Hollow Worlds’ — Apologies for all of the delays!

Included is a custom made PDF by shift.
It contains the lyrics and an index to provide some insight in to the context of the concept.
Also included are additional art, which can be interchanged with the cover.

The sound of the record draws for more inspirations that I can really mention. I grew up as a drummer listening to progressive rock and technical music, and that definitely shines through a bit more on this record than my previous works.

Some of the seeds of the songs go back to 2003, but it’s been an intense 4 years to get this (and the upcoming EP) to what it is.

Many people have asked me over the years for instrumental versions of my songs — I get it, I mostly listen to instrumental music myself.
So there is an instrumental version of the album also up for sale on bandcamp (at a discounted rate from the original).

I’m extremely proud to finally put this out to the world.
