Blaž is a strange-hop producer from a little town called Izola on the coast of Slovenia. After a number of EPs he’s finally releasing his debut full-length called “Don’t Listen To This” on Beton Records (Moveknowledgement, N’toko…). Blaž had this to say about his new album: “There is a border between intimacy and public. Whatever crosses it transforms from a private holiness to a pure product for all to consume, throw away, rip apart. Lovers either hide what they’re doing in their bedrooms or show everybody and become pornstars. Artists either preserve their integrity and create for themselves or they simplify their art, throw glitter on it and become famous. Is it possible to send something intact and raw over the border without losing its essence? Let me try that. I will write DON’T LISTEN TO THIS on my album and hold my right that it’s still completely mine, even though it’s among all of you.”
