The Cheapers are back! The duo consisting of Fraenzen Texas and Ruede Hagelstein has been contributing to the Upon.You Records catalogue since day dot and they’re still on fire, delivering our first digital single in 2016 with ther Room For Rent EP. And although a Shithole isn’t necessarily a space one might want to rent for a reason it seems that this specific one is the place to be to have a fabulous night out, floating along to a decent TechHouse foundation, spiralling digital Acid lines and epic vocal bits catered in a touching, inspiring and heartfelt way a few basic, functional ingredients that give way to an unforeseen, melodic breakdown providing relief and keep hearts pumping faster on the dancefloor for a reason. With the tune Rosengarten the party continues in a more jacking vein on a foundation of dark’n’rolling, slightly progressive basslines slowly moving through various filters whilst detailed percussion layers and micro-sounds provide additional drive before crystalline strings, fragile synth tones and innocent, most adorable female vocals turn Rosengarten into one of the most magical things ever a tune able to put whole venues under a charm!
