Helsinki’s Roberto Rodriguez aka Manolo is back with two new tracks that pursue his usually well trodden path of real proper deepness, as evidenced on the sexy and slinky late night groove “Broken”. This one is seriously emotive with its woozy bittersweet chords, life affirming organ leads and irresistibly bumpy sensibilities. Second offering “Be Yourself” gets more energetic on this very soulful and dubby Delano Smith inspired groove, complete with some sexy vocals for added measure. Finally “Broken” gets a rendition by Berger & Young which gets a classic ’90s NYC house makeover reminiscent of legends like Kerri Chandler. Yeah, we were really feeling this one actually!
