At the end of March 2017, Kiko Navarro will release Everything Happens For A Reason, the veteran house producer’s first “proper” studio album (his previous set gathered together previously released productions). This teaser single trails two highlights from the album: his updated, jammed-out cover version of Maze’s proto-house classic “Twilight” and “Cranc”, a deliciously epic, acid-laden exploration of warm and woozy late night deep house that boasts some similarly analogue synthesizer motifs. As a bonus, the EP also contains “Twi-Dub” – a fantastically rough, ready and acid-fired take on “Twilight” full of additional percussion and proto house style dub effects – and a hazy, late night deep house remix of “Twilight” by pal Eddie Niguel.
