Stockholm-based Chilean Omar Santis releases his second EP for this Phonica Records sub-label and it’s pretty impressive; dusty and lo-fi deep house for fans of The Trilogy Tapes or L.I.E.S. First track “Caress” starts things off with a bang; this gets a really emotive groove going with a dash of that Detroit kind of tech soul. “The Moan” is much dubbier and smoked out, perfect to set the mood in the early evening. “Unwind” gets back to deepness in a slightly overdriven and saturated fashion; the vintage sounds bleeding through the ol’ tape aesthetic is a nice touch. Finally “Le Hugs” is smooth, sultry and downright dreamy in that Terreke kind of way. Really digging this one!
