Nail’s 89:Ghost label continues apace with this new wedge of goodness from Logic Systems. The self-titled EP is the first we’ve heard of this particular producer, although it could just as easily be an alias for the boss himself. Whoever is behind the music, they should be thoroughly pleased with themselves. The quality and imagination that has been poured into these tracks is evident from the off – “Ariel” shimmers with its plush layers of synths and understated beat, while “S.C.A.M.P” gets some even more startling keys in the mix. The story is the same with “Z-Plane” & “Ultranet”, weaving a masterful tale that adds perfectly to the 89:Ghost canon.
