Can Alkalino be releasing such quality every week? Talk about the Munich Machine! The Audaz head honcho now presents the Pedal Polarity EP. The title track is one of his standout tunes this year with dreamy pads, swirling Rhodes and a smooth beat which shows us all how real proper deep house is done. The rest of the EP is handed over to label mate Macchina Nera who presents “The Race” a dark and shuffling experiment in four to the floor electro reminiscent of The Hacker and Miss Kittin. There’s also two pretty awesome remixes; “The Race (907 mix)” introduces more spacey elements and a bit of latin percussion (which works surprisingly well) and “The Race (707 mix)” which is more subdued with its elements.
