Soil’ is the first release on [ NIL∅S ], a music label from Third Stone, the organisation behind the fashion brand Julius, beloved of noted men in black Nine Inch Nails / Marilyn Manson / Richie Hawtin / Ben Klock / Marcel Dettmann.

“Julius has always been a crossover of music, art, and other vectors, and not simply just a fashion brand. [ NIL∅S ] now incorporates this and transmits the industrial ethos of the brand within a new sound-approach. For the first release, [ ENA ] has created ‘Soil’, a piece incorporating the world of [ NIL∅S ] through sound. This concept album is one track, extending over 40mins. Rather than structuring small details, the album is an atmospheric, mono tone space, created through a mixing and layering of sound. On the top of this industrial sound, [ ENA ] has inserted elements of colour, creating a piece with a dramatic variation of sounds. For the vinyl version of the ‘Soil’ project, the creators of the label have put together a deluxe package. The full ‘Soil’ piece has been edited to fit the LP format.”
