When looking at bass music worldwide, there really aren’t many names who have had such an impact for such an extended period of time as the Bay Area’s own Bassnectar. Over the years he has supplied the dubstep scene and beyond with monstrous banger after monstrous banger and this latest edition of his ‘Reflective’ LP series is a perfect representation of his sound. From the tearout tones of ‘Illusion’ featuring Born I and ‘Dive’ with RD, to the more softer soundscape lead compositional structures of the Mothership mix of ‘Leprechauns Arise’ and emotive harmonic structures of ‘Irresistible Force’, Bassnectar shows both his consistency and versatility with this one.
