Claus Casper and Jean Philips have been collaborating on singles since 2009. Following releases on Sorry Shoes, Nite Grooves and Emma Music, they seem to have finally found a settled home on No Brainer Records. The duo’s latest missive for the German label is packed with playable positivity, from the drowsy deep house chords, rolling beats and life-affirming disco samples of “A New Beginning”, to the filter-sporting, head-in-the-clouds bliss of tasty disco-house workout “Cherish”.
