Patrick Marsman’s Pinkman label returns with a sixth release which shines further light on the hardware romanticism of Amsterdam-based duo Antenna. Formed of Kiev native Sasha Renkas and Dutch vocalist Eline Makker, Antenna first surfaced two years ago with a self titled EP for the short-lived Chronocircle label that featured a hefty remix from Dhr. Danny Wolfers. It’s not clear what Renkas and Makker have been up to in the interim period , but the Odessa EP finds them on great form, with three flighty box jams that are complemented by some distinct vocals with final track “Rain & Thunder” particularly memorable. Renkas and Makker are also responsible for the superb artwork that adorns this release. All hail the Pinkman!
