“Like most kids, I wanted to be an astronaut when I was growing up. Seeing the NASA shuttle launches and discovering the universe through programs like Cosmos and The Sky at Night, it was hugely inspirational for me. In a way, we’re all astronauts; we’re on a commute around our own star right now, discovering new things about ourselves, our world, and the people around us every day. We’re Sun Riders and the trip is never over” -36

3six Recordings is pleased to announce a new 7″ vinyl series for 2014. The first record is “Sun Riders” which is housed on transparent heavy vinyl, in a clear PVC sleeve, finished with a transparent vinyl sticker. Minimise to maximise!

The vinyl version includes 3 tracks of emotional electronic music, showcasing the full gamut of the 36 sound. The digital version includes the bonus track “Night Light”. Stop reading, start listening!

Ride on rainbow spectrums, Belarus artist Nearfield doesn’t forfeit adopting the landscaping élan of the scintilla. Enter G5, the sound of a modicum jewel swimming its best butterfly stroke in addition to spinning all around the reciprocating shadows, while every now and then contemplating tectonic disorder in this poor and troubled planet Earth. With beautiful remix work from the adroit Iameb 57, Arkanau, and Ogrvne, and the enormity of the final track TIME, Nearfield is definitively maneuvering through the plateaus pristinely, as if tracing the whispering silicon iota.

2. Perfect Desolation

5. Opal Sky
6. In The Midst Of Eternal Ice
7. Farthest North

Farthest North is the result of a musical collaboration between Canada’s Parhelion and Australian sound artist Zac Keiller. The idea originated while they both were treading similar thematic ground with their individual projects, mainly, that of using the far north as an artistic muse. The end result of their effort is a record that, through the prism of its authors, focuses on capturing the essence of this extreme landscape, eschewing the romanticized and instead focusing on the stark, cold immensity and volatility of a place located at the ends of the world. Teetering between the hauntingly sparse and the occasionally chaotically dense, the music attempts to mirror the landscape’s primitive elements through its sonic interpretations, weaving together both a personal and impersonal narrative drawn from the geography, atmosphere and psychical character of one of the most forlorn realms known to men. Comes with a bonus DVD of a special collage of the album tracks set to abstract nordic landscapes for a uniquely immersive audio visual

A big wish of the initiators of the ‘Voestalpine Klangwolke 2013’ unexpectedly came true: Parov Stelar – Austria’s most important musical export – has refurbished the famous Austrian composer Anton Bruckner on September 7th. “Anton reloaded” – his biggest hits are meeting the 21th century. Two great and worldwide known artists from Linz in a musical duel. But Peter Kreuzer aka Peter Cruseder, mastermind of the La Rochelle band, an uprising project of the Etage Noir label-family, has been involved as sound-designer of the ‘Voestalpine Klangwolke 2013’. This Klangwolke 2013 CD, brings this absolutely unique event & sound-experience to all fans of these 3 fascinating musicians worldwide, who didn’t get the opportunity to attend the event !!

The new album of Roman Litvinov (aka Mujuice) — one of the best electronic musicians of Russia — presents him just as a composer. There is no voice at all, bit is muted, instead of them — piano, strings, choir, chimes of metal percussion and melody — which are as sophisticated as clear and intuitive.
“Metamorphosis” — is beautiful, intelligent, soft and very sensual instrumental music, which does not require additional picture: it really touches a nerve in itself. Nevertheless, it is an album, composed of the elements of soundtrack and individual musician plays, prepared for his first original multimedia exhibition. ” Alexander Gorbachev
