Precisely two years on from the first volume of Repetae Multi, Cari Lekebusch returns to the concept to deliver a collection of three distinctive cuts that further explore the Sound Architects manipulation of uncomplicated loop-based sounds. Direct and uncompromising, the foundations of the EP are built on no-nonsense, foot-to-the-floor dynamism combined with Lekebuschs inimitable touch that manifests itself across the EP via trippy tones, perpetual driving funk and hard hitting rhythms.
Flooded sees the Dahlback and Lekebusch on booming techno form with a full-on workout that builds up a sweat by contrasting a playful clinking melody against a backdrop of rough pulsating rhythms and heavyweight industrial sonics. Snejk changes tack, bringing a hypnotic flavour to the EP with its steady percussive groove of bouncing toms and snappy hi-hats underpinning an elastic bassline, which all works to lend a rolling momentum to this intricate and subtle tool.
