Mark Vale has seemingly come out of nowhere and joining the league of superstar DJs; not bad for the boy from Slovenia and releasing on Toolroom’s Selector Series (Volume 34 to be exact) is testament to the fact. Getting straight down to business with the main room funky tech house of “Jolgorio” by Jaceo, it’s followed up by the power of Technasia & Green Velvet’s “Sugo which grooves along nicely with its bluesy guitar riff sample and Curtis Brown’s typically tripped out monologue! Mike Vale himself also appears with “From The Beginning” which is smooth tech house that just reeks of an Ibiza dancefloor. There are also appearances by Eric Sneo with “Around Summer” and Dosem with “Presence” not to mention the peak time tech funk of Spanish legends Chus & Ceballos with “Beat Pirates”. If that wasn’t enough, you can hear the entire collection mixed to perfection by Mike Vale himself as a bonus track.
