It’s been nearly 15 years that ‘Love & Business’ Mathias Schaffhauser’s second album was released changing the life of the man from Koln Germany. In summer 2001 the first track on the release ‘Hey Little Girl’ became a massive hit in Ibiza and everywhere that people danced in the sun. DJs such as Ricardo Villalobos and Sven Vath played it constantly branding it in the synapses of thousands of dancers. Vath also used it on his very successful Mix CD The Sound Of The Second Season Noche Y Dia. ‘Hey Little Girl’ became one of THE anthems of the early 2000s and is on the life soundtrack of many music lovers. Finally Mathias found time to remaster the album and do some sharp edits. In fact he slowed down 2 tracks: ‘Hello’ and the second cover version on the album ‘Take Me To Your Heart’ originally written and performed by The Eurythmics. (Yeah in 2001 tracks sometimes ran on 130 BpM! Today we prefer a bit more relaxed grooves.) The rest of the album is completely original no remixes no dubbing simply remastered with some added bass and brightness. Listening to the whole album in one flow is still an experience sailing up and down on waves of euphoria and bittersweetness. ‘Hey Little Girl’ comes in its extended vinyl version with mix beats at the start giving DJs the ultimate tool for their sets
