he latest release on Nina Kraviz label is international in outlook and less intense than the previous collection. That said, Question does contain a peak-time bangers, most notably the wild acid of K Hand’s “Sound 6”, Vladimir Dubyshkin’s full-on 135 bpm techno “Hair Like String, Like A Harp” and the hiccuping vocal and pumping groove of Kraviz’s own “Let’s Do It”. However, the slower cuts are more impressive; these include the bleepy, 90s-style minimal house of Roma Zuckerman’s “I Have A Question”, the clanging drums of DJ Sodeyama’s “Miles Pt 2” and Fred P’s dirty, dub, “Higher Mentalism” (edit)”.
