Manchester’s finest presents us with another great slice of deep house music on Well Cut. Danny Ward aka drummer and producer Dubble D and also known as Moodymanc here. “Comfort Me” is the typical groove of Ward that you’d expect with a razor sharp bassline, dreamy chords and a lot of soul! “War & Peace (2015 Retouch)” gets funky in a filtered disco kind of way while the Luke Solomon remix is something to look forward to as well. He takes things a bit deeper on this version with a nice splash of 303 acid; it always works well!
