The more astute vinyl digger will already be acquainted with Finnish underground figure Stiletti Ana aka Ilari Larjosto through his collaboration last year with DJ Fett Burger, Seriously Goodbye on Sex Tags UFO. Now he flies solo and it’s a beautiful sight. Divided between deep, expansive techno, reflective ambience and tracky, drum-heavy house, this mini-album shows that Stiletti is an emerging force to be reckoned with. In particular, the balmy textures of “Time We Left This World Today”, the hypnotic, bleep house of “They Knew Their Time Was Cumming” and the amazonian chirps and tweets on the deep techno of “Universe Carrier” are nothing short of sublime.
