A Parisian in New York, Adeline Michele is a soul singer on a mission of ambition. Having already guested on label boss Jkriv’s Deep & Disco Recordings label, she now sees her own tune, “Redo”, reworked by a host of quality producers. Jkriv’s own extended original is a killer slice of pulsating Moroder-esque bleepy-disco, whilst DJ Vas smoothes out the edginess for some funky cocktail house vibes. Elsewhere Dino Soccio delivers some mean soulful organic house, but the winner is Kraak & Smaaks’ slow motion synth-soul re-rub that beams in straight from 1983.
