With our 15th release we present two young and upcoming Spanish acts who fit perfectly into the musical philosophy of Crossfrontier Audio. With tracks and remixes on labels such as Eklektisch, Last Night On Earth and Sudbeat, Fran Von Vie and Cumiks have refused to let people put their music into a certain genre. Their Promises EP contains two original tracks that have their own style written all over it, with a combination of deep-, tech-, and progressive house vibes. For the first remix we welcome Manual’s Paul Hazendonk & Noraj Cue, who transform the title track “Promises” into a warm and groovy Deep House dream. By adding a lovely piano, they make this our personal soundtrack for the first sunny spring days to come. The second remix comes out of our home town Berlin, from the young talent Max Farlane, who just released his first EP von Fairmont’s label Beachcoma. DJ and producer Sandro Kuhne is an essential part of Zurich’s nightlife. He started his career as a DJ with his own party nights, such as the ? Grenzbereich?. Currently he organizes the popular Sunday party ?Sunday Breakfast? once a month. But also outside of Zurich’s party scene Sandro is well known. His first EP on Circle Music called ?Be Free? invaded the international dancefloors at it’s time and now Sandro is coming up for the next coup. The title track ?Until The End Of Time? is a driving Tech-House tune, no-frills. Sandro is obviously pointing toward the dancefloor. Staccato-like percussion play harmoniously with driving grooves, while a nice break in the middle of the track gives the opportunity to the crowd to shake out their arms and legs, before it keeps going on with thrilling rhythms. ?Still In My Mind? on the other hand acts like a track to come down to. Deep basslines and graceful synths reduce the peaktime feeling and then prepare for the things coming up. Perfect for any afterhour, and thus probably also a guarantor at Sandro’s Party ?Sunday Breakfast?.
