Deep and sexy. We could just stop here as this sums up this immaculate EP from Ceri perfectly. At Save You our ears are always open to new artists joining us, we dont subscribe to the label being just for us and our crew. Whats wrong with making new pals? We consider ourselves to have a core but also like to make new friends through the label and bring new people on board as we meet them and as their music draws us in. Ceri is a fine example of this. Her work with super dope label “Wiggle” had pricked up our ears, however, having not met properly we were delighted when we received this fantastic set of tracks in our inbox. We have since welcomed the talented Ceri into Save You. Both tracks here are highly playable, cross over genres and fit well with the labels mantra n they have an edge, are well produced and have a slight quirkiness to them. The remix comes from another new artist for us but someone we are sure you have listened to before, Moon Harbours Ekkohaus. His remix adds a heavy dose of funk and left-field vibes making a track that is as much for the warm up as it is for the peak and the after party n a rare thing. As always our artwork strikes a chord with the music and the original illustration from our in house artist is one of our best.
