Mr KS has made a significant start to his musical career with his debut release on Djebalis revered label, also being the first artist to appear on the imprint other than Djebali himself. His impressive debut immediately caught our attention at Tsuba towers and reminded us of a young Dyed Soundorom, demonstrating a certain edge to his grooves coupled with crisp and powerful production. This promising start continues on this second Mr KS release, the Making Beats EP. The lead cut shows his penchant for a killer groove coupled with a distinctive spoken word vocal about a passion for making beats. B1 Thats Right walks a similar path with an undeniably groovy and swinging bassline and B2 Building shows Mr KS is no one trick pony with a deeper slower vibe.
