But it doesn’t just draw from the early 90’s historically – its acid house drums and looped vocal sample evoke memories of those euphoric days of hedonism in abandoned air-fields the length and breadth of the UK.
Whilst it’s a departure for them sonically, it is still immediately identifiable as Tesla Boy, with Ant’s distortive vocal and talent for writing the catchiest of hooks. Already a fan favourite from their recent tours of Modern Thrills, more and more fans knew the words as each night went on.
