Disco – Disco … thats the first thing that crops to mind by listening to the new Album GOOD MORNING PEOPLE made by Roter & Lewis for the first time. Perfectly selected Vocals and every track with a high talented musical arrangement make it to a life-time experience. In line with their motto: “It`s not what you say, but how you say it”, Roter & Lewis always say it groovy, explosive, innovative and with bass. For years they have been a perfect couple (DJ/Producer), creating music from Deep to Techhouse. They were showing their great talent by realeasing their songs for example by: Kittball, Strictly Rhythm, Bitten Rec., Thirtyonetwenty, Nervous Rec., Stylerockets, Kiddaz FM, Toolroom Rec., Witty Tunes, King Street Sounds, PWU, and many more… Last year their track “Folklori” was voted to the Top 10 ADE Techhouse Tracks.
The “Minimal Techno Compilation 2013”, known nationwide, was mixed and created by Roter & Lewis this year. But back to the album: each track equally hits. Giving the feeling of summer, sunshine and good times increases the reuirement of running to the next open air for partying. A consistently maximum housy sound, but never boring. For the first three tracks Roter & Lewis currently obtains valuable musical support by Div-A, Supertrash, Abi & Slow Tap. A really good way as we think – all the three things are a blast. The remaining eleven songs of the album almost unnoticed takes you on a trip. Your Phantasy turns you back to the times of Studio54 with overcrowded dance floors, smiling faces and happy people. Sony (Columbia) saved themselves the boys for following Remixes, which underline show talented they are. Their sound took place at many festivals worldwide. Presenting their music life for example in Kazantip (Ukraine), Bogota (Colombia), Mexico City (Mexico), Magnum (Luxembourg), Tresor (Berlin), Lehmann (Stuttgart) and many more.. We are fuckin´proud that the boys release their album on Stylerockets und we are quite sure that GOOD MORNING PEOPLE will be a Hit. April 2014 is the release date. With just one other release to his name for Deadplate Records (not counting his turns in trio Circle Traps), Will Ward signs up to Audio Doughnuts for an EP that perfectly shows off his modern bassy techno craft. “224” is a stunning example of how to use industrial techno grit as a jumping-off point for something thrilling and original. With snarling bass tones and heaps of sound design puffing and panting in the mix, the track positively bangs in an eminently danceable way while being completely dizzying at the same time. “Pavillion” too finds Ward offsetting his ranging synth scrapes with tough beats that shuffle and shake in unconventional ways without losing sight of the groove. Hodge meanwhile brings a delicate and mechanical touch to “224”, and Filter Dread throws down a spacious and slightly madcap version of “Pavillion”.
