Released by his own collectively-run Fiakun imprint, the new LP continues to explore El_Txef_A’s dreamy take on electronica, showcasing his talents as a producer, singer and pianist. Made in the mountainous surroundings of his beloved Basque Country, the album also features cameos from several local (Biskonti, Hannot, Napora Iria) and international (Meggy, Woolfy) talents. We Walked Home Together will be released on CD and as a double-pack vinyl.

7. Bring Me Down (Warrior Mix)4:18

Originally released in 1999, Stanton Warriors’ remix of Zac Toms’ “Bring Me Down” was one of the West Country duo’s earliest outings. Springing and vibing with turn-of-the-century UKG class, the original represents the act’s roots with groove and distinction and still sounds amazing to this day. Rebooted 15 years later, it’s still as fresh and funky. Highlights across this generous package include the jazzy keys on Odysseus’s Dark House remix, the deep, dubby Serious Danger-style chugging vibe of Origin’s remix and of course the swaggering chest-press breakbeats of the 2014 mix. Make no mistakes; this will never bring you down.
