Tracklist
1. Moonlight Shadow (Original Mix)8:50
2. To Real Time (Original Mix)8:14
3. From Dub To Dub (Original Mix)7:51

Continuing their quest towards the futuristic and experimental electronic horizon, the ever evolving and never compromising Visionquest are back, taking a journey into the deep and dubby, presenting the Moonlight Shadow EP – three beautifully distinguished tracks from Germanys finest, Seidensticker & Salour. Title track Moonlight Shadow takes you on a journey into the dark night, sublimely deep yet emotively eerie with thick dubby pads complimented perfectly by sonorous chords. While relatively low in tempo, a deep burning energy swells within the complex tiers creating skilled suspense and showcasing immaculate production. On the flip, To Real Time witnesses the Hamburg-Thessaloniki connection yielding fruits again. Originally from Greece, good friend George Boronas aka Square RoomHeroes pairs up with the German duo to show clearly what connects them: intimacy, deepness, freakiness, groove and spirit. Beginning with the subtle introduction of new instruments and rich sounds, the track soon gains force and momentum, building into wonderful layers and a kicking groove, directed much more firmly at the floor. Rounding off this wholly satisfying package From Dub To Dub is stripped back with broken beats, thick plush keys, delicate shakes and reverbed guitar licks, that all fall and rise within the warm depths and infinite atmosphere. Jakob Seidensticker & Bardia Salour are names that are becoming very familiar on the underground circuit. While Bardia is a local Hamburg DJ and music connoisseur with a great influence on the whole of Hamburg, Jakob Seidensticker is an essential part on the internationally respected Wareika trio, releasing on highly acclaimed labels such as Perlon, Circus Company and Eskimo. After DJ’ing in various clubs and locations, they have finally found their base at the ‘fulminant’ EGO club in Hamburg.Joining forces, Seidensticker & Salour’s track selection and dub-influenced sound have been known to satisfy all hedonistic impulses ignited on the dance floor and this seamless EP on the mighty Visionquest imprint promises to do just that.

Those looking for undiluted uplift should jump on the aptly titled “Together”, those in need of a laser-snapping tech frenzy need to sign up to the spikey sermons of “Ghosttext” while those keen on deeper lucid dark soul need to pay attention to the two Seven Davis Jr collaborations. “What’s It Gonna Be?” is straight out of the early ’90s Strictly handbook while the kick drum-free “I Promise” is straight up street soul with heaps of potential for mix creativity.

Schneeweiss IV: a collaboration of neighbours. Over the years, Oliver Koletzki has continuously cited Berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. Two of his albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 have been a direct ode to the capital. Friedrichshain, one of Berlins vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Olivers heat. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Moreover, the Stil vor Talent HQ is situated in the centre of the bustling Kiez. So is Schneeweiss, one of Friedrichhains best and most loved restaurants. Over the course of eight years, the stylish eatery has impressed many a Berlin foodie with its contemporary take on alpine cuisine and attention to detail. Music is part of the experience here, which is no surprise due to one of the owners extensive background in Berlins club scene of the early days. Pairing striking award-winning interior design with a homely laid-back atmosphere, Schneeweiss welcomes everyone with open arms: Kiez locals and celebrities, students and businessmen, hipsters and families all can be found here, Oliver Koletzki among them. Thus, after many a late-night label dinner an idea slowly formed. Why not join forces and collaborate on a compilation that represents both, Oliver Koletzkis and Schneeweiss taste? Compiled specifically with the restaurant in mind, SVT141CD convinces as a tasty treat for the music connoisseur and a musical treat for the culinary aficionado. Bon Appétit!

1. Thomass Jackson – Bad Chat (6:32)
2. Mijo – Working Late (4:58)
3. Eddie Mercury – Rim Cow Shot (6:40)
4. Theus Mago – Ritmo Extraterrestre (7:14)
5. Inigo Vontier – Lunatico (5:26)
6. Jeronimo – Delusion (5:01)

This release is a sign of how much of a global phenomenon underground electronic music is, as all of the contributors come from Mexico. Thomass Jackson kick-starts the release with “Bad Chat”, a malevolent, bass-heavy groove that is propelled over frenetic drum rolls. Eddie Mercury’s “Rim Cow Shot” inhabits a similar space, albeit one that is powered by grainy kick drums and razor-sharp percussive volleys. An interest in the darker side of electronic music must be a common theme for Mexican producers because both Mijo’s “Working Late” and Inigo Vontier’s “Lunatico” are led by eerie, warbling synths and throbbing basslines and Theus Mago’s “Ritmo Extraterrestre” is a wild acid extravaganza.
