LA producer Shaded has been tipped for great things, and listening to Creepy Fingers, it’s not hard to understand why he has received these accolades. The title track is a dark, pulsing slice of techno, its electronic disco pulse and metallic drums underpinning a menacing vocalist that heavy breathes an indistinct narrative that would have even Charles Manson spooked. On the flip, Shaded drops “Scatter Chatter”. Although it’s not as heavy as the title track, it is just as streamlined and will appeal to fans of Black Strobe (remember them?) and contemporary ebm/techno artists like Metropolis. Turbo delivers, yet again.
