Having contributed a track to Falling Ethics’ compilation last year, Nastia Reigel now delivers her first full release for the label. “What Can You Do” resounds to powerful steely drums, dubbed out sound scapes and an insistent, rolling groove. Despite its weighty elements, it has an innately funky quality. “If So Then” is more stripped back, with its snaking, acid-tinged rhythm and Chicago percussion ensuring that it’ll have dance floor impact. “Over And” sees Nastia go deeper and darker, as she drops a bass-heavy dance floor track. “Hold The Door Please” is in a similar vein, with Reigel combining a nocturnal sub-bass and rasping percussion.
