Italian producer Paolo Alberto Lodde has been releasing music as Dusty Kid for 10 years. This latest release, for the freshly minted Isolade label, is a continuation of the III album Lodde released to inaugurate Isolade earlier this year. The title track is typical of Dusty Kid; chord driven, euphoric and energised. He’s employed a darkly cast of remixes to give the EP a more sinister feel with countryman Claudio PRC stripping back “Exit 12” into something deep and throbbing, while the Hubbles Disperse mix is tense and crystallising. Denovali Records boss Saffronkeira does well to add a glitchy remix which is reminiscent of Cio D’or’s Prologue material.
