AROF It features three original tracks, infused with spacey sounds and a great rhythm of immersive frequencies—perfect for the club dance floor. – AROF (“Sweat” in the Mapudungun language) is the side project of Chilean DJ and producer John Plaza (Ambient, Deep, Hypnotic Techno). An explorer and sound designer, a builder of sound structures, and a producer for the past six years, he currently resides in Barcelona. In a constant search for freedom and to express his sonic identity, concept, and stage presence, AROF is characterized by delivering agile, intense, and dynamic Techno, provoking hypnotic and euphoric sensations accompanied by carefully selected percussive elements that add groove to a consistently hot dance floor. His creations feature varied frequency modulations. He is a fan of recording everyday sounds in nature and the city. When AROF performs in the DJ booth, you can expect to connect with classic sounds and complex sonic structures that will take you on a journey through futuristic elements and nostalgia.
