Advances in computing and unmanned flight have ushered in a new age of warfare that relies less on human brainpower and more on the lethal autonomy of military drones. Computers are now responsible for surveying landscapes, gathering data, assessing enemy threat levels and using lethal force in eliminating targets. Increasingly, the enemy is less human and more machine.

Based firmly in the alarming and frantic sounds of early rave techno, the “Drone Warfare” EP is a modern update for a classic sound, written as the soundtrack for an automated war fought by algorithms and machines. Cold, aggressive, rigid and tense, these pulsing tracks are made for the dancefloor, simultaneously evoking warlike sensations of atonal hostility and extreme combat.
