Following The Bunker’s inaugural two releases from Leisure Muffin and Clay Wilson, the label releases its most high-profile EP to date with this three-track release from Donato Dozzy and Neel’s famed Voices From The Lake project. Following tracks for Concrete Records and Mike Parker’s Geophone label last year, the Velo Di Maya EP is Donato Dozzy and Neel’s most substantial release since their revered self-titled debut album of 2012, and contains three tracks reproduced from their favourite live segments of a performance given at the famed New York club night in 2012. Containeing the lush, fluid textures of the title track, the gently pulsating frequencies of “Setiero” and the throbbing electric textures of “Respiro”, there’s enough here to keep the most ardent fans of the duo sated.
