Snello sneaks up on us with subliminal stabs and crackling claps on the opening track of his aptly titled “On Acid” EP, and combined with pads from the darkest shadows he sets the mood perfectly. On “Acid Room” discordant arpeggiation goes hand in hand with garbling synths to complete the claustrophobic atmosphere, while Stanny Fransen and Soren Aalberg turn up the acid index on their remix of the opening track, inserting creeping riffs and whipping up a psychotic frenzy.
