This is the work of an imagination that cannot sit still, a place where distorted yet absolutely familiar samples crash head on against solid walls of pulsing noise, where slick pop has been dragged kicking and screaming into the future, forced to adapt or risk self destruction. Owen’s world feels like it could completely collapse at any moment, but always soars when the rubble beckons.
