The one and only G.Pal takes a step back and pulls the on the reins to bring us the lush “No Land, No Hope”, a clear indication of his smooth, flawless style and constant metamorphosis.
Label boss Da Fresh strips the original of its layers and beefs the drums up for maximum effect, while the now-classic bass tone kicks in and plods away in style. Shuffling beats and tasteful stabs keep the heads bobbing, and towering synths add tension when needed.
In the original mix we get plenty of G.Pal’s trademarks such as the addictive, repetitive pads and familiar pitched-down vocals, but this time they are interlaced with otherworldly rhythmic effects and a subtle rhythm section. Quality atmospherics and a vocal snippet creeping in and out seal the deal on this futuristic slab of a track.
