So it was back in September when I was on tour in Australia and was sample hunting to inspire me when I came across Afrika Bambaataa – planet rock. I bloody loved the original so I thought I have to do something with it but every idea I came up with was terrible. I left it for a while and back in December I wrote Hit Me but it was missing something so I thought I’d add the strings and a couple of the vocals from Planet Rock. It worked Wahoooo. That’s the story of Hit Me and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. X
