Sneaky Music’s own Ranacat makes his debut release on the label with ‘I Want a Better You’. Built around a pounding kick and deep, sentimental strings, the Berlin-based producer references a late 90s deep house sound while also taking influence from more current club sounds. Ray Okpara of Mobilee and AMA’s percussive, bass driven remix takes the track in a tech house direction. The captivating groove of the bassline makes this remix a guaranteed dancefloor winner. Greek producer Echonomist spices things up with his Afro Dub mix. With frantic congas in tandem with mind bending effects this rhythmic number is engineered for peak time madness in the club. At the other end of the spectrum lies Steve Cook’s remix. The Englishman takes things slower, with an infectious acid bassline and lush pads constructing a tripped out, day time banger.
