Following up that great debut last year entitled Simple Process on Innervisions, Nuiton has a lot to live up to, but sure does not disappoint. On the Cherry Protocol EP, he presents three new tracks which continue on with his restrained yet effective futurist groove. The dynamic opener “Morning Thesis” is testament to this, with its slowed down industrial techno groove assisted by dystopian samples and field recordings. He teams up with Diel on the deep and sexy tech house number “Brooklyn In Love” where a mellow arrangement accompanies some charming, gasping vocals. Finally “Nothing Against You” goes full throttle on this Robert Hood inspired journey through functional cyclicality: this one is wicked!
