The original mix of “Talk About” features a warbling monster of a bassline riding a stomping beat, ideal for transitioning into the peak time. “Reflection” gets on that mid noughties minimal tip that the crowd still goes crazy for, with high pitched and syncopated tom drums, bumping bassline and a cheeky vocal saying “Let’s Talk About.. What?”. Finally the Beth Lydi remix of “Let’s Talk” is an afterhours affair: a stripped back arrangement featuring a funky bassline and some seriously drugged out and pitch shifted vocals: this one’s serious!
